Star Wars Sith Wallpaper Biography
Star Wars Sith Wallpaper is a character from the videogame Final Fantasy VII.
Consider him Final Fantasy VII’s little dose of comic relief. A cartoon cat riding around on a giant moogle makes for a pretty sharp contrast to the game’s many moments of grimness, even though he turns out to have a somewhat depressing motivation behind him in the end.
Cait Sith first turns up in the giant Gold Saucer casino, joining Cloud Strife and company after offering to predict their fortunes. Later, it’s revealed that there’s more to him than meets the eye – both the moogle and the cat riding on top of him are in fact simply robots, controlled from a distance by a human agent.
The agent in question is named Reeve, a member of the Shinra Corporation’s board of directors. He was coerced by his superiors into infiltrating the AVALANCHE party, and is forced to betray them at a critical moment, but later resolves to turn against Shinra and join the AVALANCHE crew for real.
Many of his special attacks have a gambling theme, similar to Setzer in Final Fantasy VI. He also has a lot in common with the Lady Luck class in Final Fantasy X-2.
Drawn as it is from the archaic Irish language, “Cait Sith” isn’t pronounced even remotely like it’s spelled. You say it something like “cat shee” -- feel free to enjoy correcting your friends next time they pronounce it wrong.
